10th Annual Barefoot in the Park Festival

This Mother’s Day Weekend, May 10-11, 2014, Barefoot in the Park returns to Duluth Town Green! Every year, the festival highlights the art and culture our city has to offer, while bolstering the business community and offering family-friendly entertainment in a safe and lively atmosphere.

One of the festival’s main attractions is a large fine arts market where all kinds of neat products are on sale, or you can visit the Adult Learning Village and create something with your own hands! Whether you’re interested in trying calligraphy, stained glass work, painting or pottery for the first time, the Learning Village offers an opportunity to experience something new and fun. There’s also a Children’s Art Park where kids ages 12 and under can take part in a wide range of art and science-based activities.

Read on for more details. Plus, see a video promo and photos from last year’s event.
