PHEV, or Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle, is designed for those transitioning from traditional gas and diesel cars to electric ones but may not be fully ready for a purely electric vehicle. HEV, Hybrid Electric Vehicle, combines a gas engine and a battery but does not require plugging in. BEV, or Battery Electric Vehicle, relies solely on battery power. ZEV, Zero Emission Vehicle, emits no harmful pollutants. ICE, Internal Combustion Engine, refers to conventional gas-powered vehic
